My Story

I began my Scentsy journey, here in northern Minnesota in May of 2009. That is now over 14 years ago. I wasn't really looking to start a home based business but then I started thinking about the opportunities it might give me. I was within 4 years of retiring, after working as a nurse for over 40 years. I found myself missing more activities and fun things with my grandchildren than I ever did with my own kids and that was frustrating for me. I have 6 grandkids now, ranging from 25 to 32 and we now have 8"GREATS".
After changing jobs two years prior to learning about Scentsy, I was low man on the totem pole and back to working every other weekend and holidays. We were limited to when we could take days off and vacations. Through most of my career, I worked in surgery and loved the fact that I was able to be flexible enough to never have missed one event with my own two boys. Nonetheless, I began to wonder if Scentsy might offer me the opportunity to retire early and start enjoying life more. I worked hard with Scentsy and my team began to grow and I turned in my resignation 2 years later at age 62.
Now, I am able to do what I want, when I want and not have to ask for time off from anyone. My husband and I love Nascar and Scentsy allows us to go places we enjoy and not have to worry about how long we will be gone for or how much it will cost. My husband has a 61 Impala Bubble top classic car and we were recently able to finish he restoration on that project, thanks to Scentsy.
